The primary investment strategy of the fund is to combine the additional return generated by the selected stocks, based on the forecasts of the fund managers, with the internal return earned from short positions in the VIOP30 Index, achieving a return above deposit rates. The use of short positions in the VIOP30 Index minimizes the market direction risk of the portfolio. The fund aims to provide absolute return independent of market movements by taking short positions in financial instruments identified as being above their fair value through fundamental analysis, and long positions in instruments identified as being below their fair value.

HSBC Asset Management Red Equity Unconstrained (TL) Fund (Equity Intensive Fund) (HKR)

Investment purpose of the mutual fund is to achieve returns in Turkish Lira (TL) by investing in monetary and capital market instruments, derivative contracts, financial transactions, and securities deemed appropriate by the Capital Markets Board, based on the analysis of economic and financial market factors and expectations.

At least 80% of the fund’s total value is continuously invested in domestic stock mutual funds and equities established to track indices composed of these shares. The remaining portion of the fund’s total value is invested in derivatives, reverse repos, money markets, and/or cash.
